on my second one,old one probably fired 100,000 nails before it started messing about, great investment,

Tip.......keep the gas warm, gas wont vapourize in really cold weather, have 2 gas tubes , keep 1 in the warm or under arm pit etc

Ive got the hitachi nail gun. Had it about 4 years now. Apart from usual cleaning of the cylinder has worked faultlessly. Would definitely recommend one. A company called power tool world were selling them for £250.00 around christmas.

Cheers Tim that's who I've bought it from, with delivery and nails and two gas canisters, just under £320 Inc VAT,

Really sold by the fact I can work paslode gas canisters and nails, I've a merchant near me who gives good discount that stocks paslode,

 

Looking forward to getting it ,and can't wait to see the difference it makes time wise putting up rails,

if you have a screwfix near you, try their "firmahold" nails and gas, much cheaper than paslode,ive fired 20,000 odd nails with no problems

yes agree with you about the firmahold good nails no problams

ive got hitachi and a bostitch which are very similar
