Good work! Reminds me I have stuff to stick - funny how you can put in all the effort to mill stuff but not get round to stacking it!

i thought the idea was to stick and stack as you mill???

That is generally the best idea - some timbers discolour or stain extremely quickly. Any white wood for example, oak's terrible for ferrous metal staining (particularly the sapwood).

It's lovely ash, but I would get a few more stickers on it. One every 18 inches is a good rule of thumb for anything down to inch thickness, one every 12 inches for thinner stock.

I will Jonathan when I get more sticks machined up!

I figured the few I put in were better then none at all and yes you are supposed to stick once milled but as Rob said, in an ideal world.

Turns out most of these planks are olive ash, with some fantastic colours.
