Labyrinth

I was asked by the local church minister to make this for him.

Its a copy of the maze at Sacre Ceure(?) church in Paris. He had one which had been hand carved and really liked it. He wants to give them as a present to graduating ministers who have had a student placement with him.

It took two passes of the laser to do it at 35 minutes a pass.

The wood I made it from is spalted sycamore which I have had for a few years in the workshop and the diameter is 302mm

Thats the right place. I only of 2 churches in Paris and I got the wrong one. Need to have a look at the finger mazes as well.

I was well impressed with the minister as he did the complicated drawing for the labyrinth and it didnt take too much tweeking by myself to get it ready for the laser. He assures me he wasnt an engineer/graphic designer in a previous life!
