Heated handles?

Got them on my 550xp. Bloody lovely. Apparently they help reduce white finger too.

Was chatting to a mate today who's doing all his health and saftey certifations he said that warm hand and joint reduce white finger. Heated handles on machery are the way forward

I'm looking at buying a new husqvarna 372, I was wondering if heated handles are worth the extra money?

When you look at the price of a new saw and then think £30 ish its a no brainier

All my saws have it.

Reduces white finger

Keeps me happy

Keeps me warm

You don't have to turn them on

But I do

Though they only really work when flat out cutting

Not from a bit of shedding here and there

Im usually working to hard & fast to have cold hands, even over the last few weeks.

However, I borrowed a mates 560 with heated handles as mine (without heated handles) was broken. I noticed two things- the XPG was heavier- running exactly the same bar/chain/pitch I could feel the difference all day.

Second- I felt and remain convinced there was slightly more vibration coming through the front handle on the XPG than on my standard saw.

Never had a problem with white finger on modern saws, the current Husky AV springs are very efficient.

There's only couple hundred grams weight difference between xp & xpg, any difference in vibration could be from multitude of things.

got a 372 with heated handles and i love it, that and good gloves make such a huge difference. wish when i bought 357xp i had gotten heated on that too

Your quite right, but it was a perceptible difference IMO.

The vibration could be from multiple things, but seemed to much of a coincidence for me...
