My only experience was when I was looking to buy one or boxer or a vermeer, they were very efficient and helpful unlike Boxer who never did return a call.

No probe with pre sales keenness Scraggs! Couple of calls, brochures, answers to all my questions....

What did you do in the end?? It's a perennial question, keep it small enough to be keen on access or go bigger for the grunt but compromise where you can use it / how you transport it??

It was going to be used as the drive unit for a power rake, in the end I went with a 740 BCS 2 wheel unit. It did seam like a lot of money for what it is, especially when compared to an Avant

I think if you can justify the price, the boxer or the vermeer (ian flatters has one) these look fantastic units.

i did see loads of kangas used in oz they seem very popular over there but the price tag may be lighter as they are australian made.

good luck with your search I've always promised myself a lifty thing for ages as my back is not getting any younger.

There ok, much narrower than my Vermeer. Basically it depends on what you want to do with it.

Buy the biggest model you can afford close to your working plan. I'd never be without mine but that's only because of the work I undertake.

Oh before I forget the absolute most important thing to do is check what kind of attachments it can power. You know flow rate and pressure things. It helped me plan for future investments.

Hope this helps.

I hear you.... Finding myself crippled on the floor in the dog shed after a heavy lifting day was the tipping point for me (my back.)

Price does seem cheeky and maybe that's down to import, middle man etc.

This doesn't show the Boxer in too good a light though:

kanga cant lift a lot compared to boxer or Vermeer

that video isn't really fair, they are two completely different systems and so arnt really comparable, plus im not sure ive ever driven over a pallet with my boxer

boxer are hopeless at returning calls but when you actually get hold of them their service is very good and the machines are brilliant
