leylandi top and chog with large face cuts

storm damaged leylandi from yesterday, around about 75/80ft unable to fell due to underground gas and water mains running along side grain shed. wind was gusting up to 50/55 mph, i dropped the top just before dinner as the wind was picking up fairly bad. overall we had approximately 8 ton of brash and 6 ton of timber.

 

Anyway set to HD and enjoy :biggrin:

I've been doing those deep sink cuts for years to save the aid of wedges or similar. People i have worked with said i should not do it like that!! So its nice to see someone else doing it, cheers:thumbup:

 

 

I think taking your time, lining the cuts up ect is were its at! Rushing a cut like that will only end up one way and this is why I feel a lot of people hate it because they haven't got the patience. :)
