Sadly when one hears of forestry equipment from,"way off road isolated wood land operations ,sheds",being stolen one must surely start to ask oneself which individuals know that equipment is there ???? I my mind it may not always be the pikkees , as some of the larger stuff must be pinched to order or by someone short of money wanting to get started in forestry on the cheap. It is easy for people to say "this stuff is soon out of the country",

where does it go abroad ,some obviously does .

Ime getting paranoid now,yet another little white van accross the road from my house,he sat there fro 11 til 2.30 today, i called the 101 number around 2 and they put me through to cops, who called me back and said its not suspicious, but gave me an incident number to quote in case of theft.

So i can rest easy in my bed tonight - not.

Know the feeling, I came up behind a battered transit van doing 20mph up road beside our yard, they indicated me to overtake and as I passed the occupants were rubbernecking the yard. Hopefully fact I pulled in, jumped out and photographed them and van means they know they've been spotted, course if they want in then they'll get in. We have three gates plus dead weights needing moved to get in, anything to make it as hard as possible.

This has been my conclusion for a while , just to be able to start and drive some kit you have to know what your doing - it's in no way opportunist
