You should not be sat in the fast lane , lane 2 &3 are for overtaking not sitting at a constant. The way motorways are used in the uk is awful part of the test should be motorway based.

I don't agree with tail gaiting at all but there nothing worse than some one sat in the outside lane with 150 meters between them and the next car well lane two has room to pull back into. :001_smile:

 

Of course. I don't sit in it for fun and will move back over once I've overtaken. But, when there are several slower vehicles, lorries etc in a row I may be overtaking for more than a minute or two, this is when it bugs me. Then the same people slam the brakes on when confronted with merging lanes or roadworks they didn't see the signs for! Grr
