Which Log Gasification Boiler

Looking to install a log gasification boiler to replace my oil fired central heating boiler.

 

Just had my green deal certificate done, now just need to find a boiler, any recommendations?

It works as an on demand boiler, and can vary from 45kw output, to virtually 0kw. This eliminates the need for a huge buffer tank, dunno if its any good though?

Hi I put a vigas 25 in our new house in 2004 got it from Dunster in devon only the 2nd one in the country then.Runs 16 radiators and 3 bathrooms .It has been wonderful it was cheap to buy fitted in the boiler room easily no acumalator tank or expensive pipes.has been no problem for 11years now and still going well.Only needed a fuse and some new rope on the fire box door.It is very easy to light even my 3 youg daughters manage to operate it easily enough.I use mix of soft wood and hardwood but cut them to 45 cm as they are easier to load.If it is only for your house these seem ideal just because it was cheap does not seem to have made it nasty and I think they are still around.

Again, can I ask what the rough total cost was please? Trying to compare the cost of a commercial install with a domestic install...

(i) How do you match heat output to heat demand, or how well does the boiler control panel modulate output to match heat demand , or where do es it "dump" excess heat if required?

(ii) With the ambient heat inside the house, the boiler is prob easier lit, plus walking away for a few mins is less of a chore.

(iii) how much room have you to store fuel beside the boiler, how do you bring it in from outside?

(iv) In the house would make a big difference to me, it is a nuisence having to put feet on to go outside on a filthy windy wet night.
