timber wolf tw190 dh or tw190 turbo vortex ??

Recommended Posts

hiya guys , whils my timberwolf tw190dh has been out of action i have been hireing a timberwolf tw190 turbo vortex . both me and my groundsman felt that the turbo is not as good as our tw190dh , this may be because its what we use day in day out . Granted its a little faster when chipping bigger timbe but thats about the only plus side i can see to having one !.

So what do you chaps that have used both have to say about them ????

You can only compare with new blades in each

mytw190dh seemed to be much much better to feed even when new , with the tw190 turbo the feed rolers seem to bounce off of the brash and not feed it through where as my tw190dh the feed rolers seem to dig in and drag anything through . Also the tw190 turbo's feed rolers seem to jam up much easyer , but like you say it may need to bed in but to be honest i was kind of expecting the turbo to chip faster and keep the groundsman on his toes but it didnt , in fact the grounds man spent more time waiting for the chipper to do its thing lol
