The Mondo/Mondo max/ and Mondo Mega were all entry level machines from the Poulon factory, the fact that there are still machines about would suggest in the right application they were not that bad, no they were not great but hey you got to love the colour, the marketing dept did a survey to see what colour people liked best, must be a Swedish thing.

Why use the crap silver paint on pro model huskies then? I don't know anyone who prefers the flaky silver to the old orange stuff that lasts twice the time!

Intrestingly enought this was also a marketing thing, dont laught but it was supposed to look more aggresive, i steam cleaned one once and it went straight back to the magnesium looked a proper mess, the 555 in orange looks so much better.

It's nylon and the screw that holds carb and air filter on has ruined thread. Can't screw in tight so leaking air. Wrapped a bit of ptfe around screw but seems a bit of a naff repair.Could i fill the hole with jb weld and then when nearly set make a hole and when hard self tap with screw? Or will that be too hard to tap with the self tapping screw.I know i could probably buy one for 15 quid but would prefer to repair it.

i have second hand part if you need one pm me we sort something out:thumbup1:
