Giant Coast Redwoods ~ a Must-See ~ 2015

The redwood forest was glorious last week with fog, rain and bright autumn leaves in the under story.

During a rain storm the light is wonderful in the redwoods ...

Heading back in the next week or two.

This valley looked very nice on a rainy autumn day.

They may in time.  All the ones in the UK are babies still.  Outside of their natural range the UK is their most favoured habitat.

Given time, it should be possible. New Zealand planted a small forest and many of the redwoods there are growing excellent. UK's climate seems well suited to coast redwood.

This was a pleasant spot to relax a few hundred feet off one of the trails.
