Could you class a transit as that though specially when they weigh the same (tipping body)

No. Check the class of vehicle. Transit I believe is lgv so not dual purpose.

A disco would probably be dual purpose, anyone got one who wants to check their log book? It'll have more than one code if it is

You ain't stood corrected yet.:001_rolleyes:

You can class it as whatever you want......... It's not so easy trying to tell a traffic copper about the law, mind.

I've never had to, been driving ivecos and transits for 10 years been pulled for number plates and lights but never for going 70mph and I do a lot of motorway driving, I'll raise you 2 :001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes:

just to add a bit of confusion (and I dont know the answer) I drive a van derived car -a transit connect with side windows and rear seats and solid back doors although the newer company ones have windows in the back door, where does this fit in ??

My traffic is eight passengers + driver, legally an mpv not a minibus. Car speed limits.

Oh my bad yes it'll be classed as a lgv like a hilux I imaging a disco van would be classed as the same

I knew it would be on the log book somewhere :001_smile:
