There are a few outfits that pay that kind of money between me and London, very few though!!

They as paye get 28 days holliday these days.

 

They actually get 29 days holiday as from 1 April 2009.

I have a job to start,Im just looking at the Arb industry as a whole. I was earning that about 10 years ago.

As i said at start of thread ok if you have kids & claiming tax credits etc.

Very true I was earning £7.50 an hour climbing 15 years ago.

I know 15 plus tree surgeons in my area, some trainee, some competent climbers, all of which are around the 6.50 - 8.50 per hour mark. I remember before I started college I had the impression that its a well paid job, but until you find the right company that pays well and have enough experience you will struggle to earn a good wage.

 

I can just about survive on my wage, but I do the job mainly because I love it.
