I'm sure the one on the front of the bobcat posted a couple of years ago was a lot faster

 

Yep thats the one I saw , it was quicker . He was picking a log off a stack , driving across the yard ( a short distance ) whilst the processor was working just in time for the first split wood to fall onto the pile . Continued over the pile till the stick was used up and went for another :001_smile:

It look like a bloody impressive bit of kit, but I can't help feeling that after watching it for a few minutes that it ought to be quicker....:001_huh:

 

Definitely needs to be quicker, I have them over here working in the forest and does seem painfully slow.

 

I did think it took it's time cutting it....a harvester bar flies through it normaly.

 

Modded stroke head. You are right, saw bar far too slow; should be much faster.

That one is a bit quicker than the original post as the bar cuts on either stroke .
