New Stihl saws - problems

I just wanted to find out if anyone else out there is having problems with new Sthil saws? We recently bought 2 new ones - an MS 362 and an MS 362C. The straight 362 has been 100% reliable, as they always used to be. The 362C - the one with an ECU in it (like a car has...FFS!) has been a nightmare - returned to the dealer several times. Fixed under warranty, still not right. Waiting for a 'software update' at the moment!! Its the way all saws are going I know - to reduce emissions - I'm all for that. But not if the products they're selling aren't up to the level we all expect from Stihl. Anyway, love to hear any thoughts...Cheers

I think its the " first generation " Husqvarna A/T that Stihl use . Husky sold it to them . There were problems with it . Husky are using 2nd or is it 3rd generation in theirs now . If you putb in a search there is loada griff on it .

Husky is on 2nd gen, the problem for Stihl is they have the old x-torq and autotune, so it all goes through the carburettor. Check the make of carb, if it's zama, you'll probably need a new carb
