I did climb up the tower to take some of those shots, but its too big a site to get perspective. The other thing is that the drag trails tend to dissapear after a few weeks. The shots with the birch in the left margin were to show how after 2 months, there was'nt a trace we'd even been there. Considering the tonnage we removed, and the incredibly delicate nature of the site, I'm more than pleased with the results.

interesting, and it just pops on over that thimble does it?

 

yes, goes through the hole, round the stem and locks back in. Bit on the heavy side - I had one swing on the end of the choker and catch me on the shoulder - Damn near broke my collarbone.
