I too run a similar setup with a Greenmech on the rear of an Ifor trailer, alas me truck and trailer doesn't tip though !!! Can be soul destroying at the end of a hard day to have to shovel off all that chip :lol:

4x4 is a must, I don't know how people work without one. Even if it's just a 4x4 without capacity to hold chip, just something to get you off tarmac. You can pick up a decent 4x4 for 5k, it's a no brainer IMO

When your wood chip pile is in a field and gets too wet for the transit to access... like this evening.

Convince one of your lads into buying a pickup so he can sell logs on a weekend, then offer him £50 to get him to tow your chipper off road when you need it. Save on insurance and tax etc... Done it many a time!!!

The field houses livestock and a fire was not a option, CS100 and spray in a heap maybe but client wanted all arisings removed?
