combi can question

for years i have used other containers for fuel and oil now decided instead of load of different containers just get one a combi can looking at online at the new husqvarna stihl and other brands the thing it don't state if you get two separate spouts one for oil and one for fuel as for me its a big no to share one spout /nozzle for both as you will get cross contamination from chain oil into fule so can someone shed some light if you get one nozzel/ spout or two one for each side sorry in advance for being daft but they don't say in the ads online

but do i get two separate nozzels that what i need to know

There is a little nozzle provided with the can, you can put on fuel or oil. Quick fill spouts can be bought seperatly

so you only get one nozzle then and need to buy a second or risk using one for both the oil and petrol

Just buy two quick fill nozzles. There is a different one for the oil and fuel. Bear in mind that the oil is very slow.in winter with the quick fill!

 

Or buy it, use nozzle on fuel and just cap on the oil as quicker to fill.

 

 

Also oregon fuel cans are cheap, with a litre marker on the side and the stihl quick fills fit them so very cheap combi with quick fills! No tool storage though

You get what you pay for but you didn't say which particular can you were looking at

 

Some pattern cans have one spout, most mainstream manufacturers supply with 2 spouts or you can but the self sealing speed fillers that are available

well its a toss between stihl or husky or Oregon like i siad wanted to know if they cam with just one nozzel or two

I never use the spout to fill the saw with chain oil from a combi can, it takes too long, just unscrew the cap off the oil filler on the can and pour the oil in the saw.

I agree you need two spouts really.

Every combi can I've ever bought has had two spouts.

Why not phone the on-line suppliers and ask them?
