that tree should not be wasted. if it can stay standing then try that but if it must come down then make sure it's milled.

 

arbscape might be interested, he's just bought his own mizer and may want it.

 

where abouts is he based mate? I googled arbscape, and its coming up in Scotland?

Unfortunately, I've not had any interest, looks like it getting logged for fire wood. If any one has any interest then PM me by 11th Nov.

 

that would be criminal, come on somebody must be able to mill it?

Trouble is if you've only got one lump Its often worth more as firewood, unless youve got a yard big enough to store it untill you get more its easier to get shot of it by whatever means.

I know, its very frustrating. I was hoping someone wold take it. I might have somewhere to keep it, but no way of getting it there, and as I am not a turner its of no real use to me.

 

What about if I cut it into 2 lumps?... (joke)

I will come and get it but I am not driving the artic up there for the one stick so we will have to wrestle it onto the ten tonner.
