Dry sump system will run any way up. Aeroplanes fly upside down, adapt one of their engines :thumbup1:
Do you mean a jet engine! Now that's a great idea, but I might let someone else try it first😁

Inverted or negative G operation is about the fuel system as well as lubrication. How about a drone engine, if 38HP is enough for you?

AR741 - 38 BHP

the mm-4 engine is designed for 360 degree use it uses 80ml of engine oil and its fed around the engine via a patented makita dolmar system blown around by air with a non return check ball that stops the oil draining down from the upper engine when the machine is'nt in use

they are quieter less emmisions and coupled with aspen very green but heavier is the another downside

does anybody know anything about this chainsaw ?? it was a prototype 4-stroke chainsaw developed several years ago but never put into production please correect me if iam wrong

is it the future ?:thumbup:

No, it weighted like a 70cc saw, a was a relatively weak 50cc saw - it is an ill concieved relic of the past, definately not the future!

It happened around 10 years ago, if my memory serves.

have you got any torque figures for this engine

but they surely would'nt waste that design, surely it was the stepping stone for these mm-4 engines there using now :thumbup:
