this saw has proved itself all over the world in standard form and wood's ported

an excellent power to weight ratio chainsaw but it would be more inline with the power and weight of the husqvarna 376xp rather than the 372xp

Any news on my dolmak yet Andrew?

Just bought a second hand dolmar 7900 as my second saw for felling big stuff etc. looking forward to seeing what its like, all the comments about this model have be excellent. If its good i may buy a new one..........only husky i may consider is the 365 or 372 for everyday use but im not convinced by the high prices and low quality anymore :sneaky2:

There is no "low quality" involved there at all, and there has been a lot more issues with the 7900 than with those Huskys trough the years, specially when you consider the limited amount in use.

The price picture vary around the world.

Oh I'm not worried SawTroll, I've used enough 560's to know that the chain brake won't fail or the clutch springs disintegrate, or oiler pack up up on the Dolmar, and if something does happen then I've got top notch support that seems faster than my local greedy, tight-fisted, half-arsed Husky dealer who takes a week to get a bolt and then supplies me with the wrong one.

There's some facts for you. If Husky want to go down the same path as Stihl with their QC, that's great. There are more competitive saw manufacturers out there willing to take their clients.
