Yep . Have 390 and 395 .

yep run it on a 28" with 3/8 chain, what sort of work you doing with it, arb or forestry?

HI STUBBY is the 395xp a better saw mate more power and more again when ported thanks jon

390 is not so aggressively ported as its predecessor the 385 . Having said that once its been to spud for some remedial work it is a stonker ! Can be improved even mor with the fitment of a carb from an Xtroque 372 ( bigger venturi ) although I have not done that bit ....yet

All Arb work-looked at a 660 but all the latest Huskys seem better than equivalent Stihl?

661s seem ok now they have sorted the problems. 660 is old school saw so just works. If you can find someone to give you a go your welcome to compare it to my 660
