So, if there is demand enough to be booked for months ahead 'consistently' then why not half that and employ more people to give a shorter turnaround/better service...?

In an ideal world yes it would great . Although decent staff are hard to come by . Faster is not always better . You may find yourself working all your machines flat out and past there service dates and creating more problems and stress . Just my opinion

I used to have a BACKLOG of about 4 to 6 weeks. Got chatting to a builder that told me to tell potential clients that I had a WAITING LIST. How things changed. Its now 10 to 12 weeks.
