I thought the 0-90 gears were cheaper, about £70 +vat.

There's a circlip in there, take that out warm the casing and they drop out.

You are absolutely correct. The ones I priced are the 0-135 gears, as I failed to read the OP's first post correctly.

I am sorry to have posted incorrect advice and will try harder to read the posts properly in future.

Not sure what the 0-90 ones are, but I think they are a bit more than £70.

I will check in the morning.

The purpose of a forum is to share information. :thumbup1: Post it here.

I'd keep the head for spares. I have three in bits and two that keep limping along

No big secret, but after a lot of internet searching I found the Combitools Workshop Manual and it is the only place i found it, im happy to share where but don't want it taken down.

the 0-90 pinion set is £71.28 plus vat, but the bearings are not included in this price and are roughly £12.00 each.

The easiest thing would be to replicate it in your own words. If you're solely worried about loosing your access to it, then simply download a backup copy to your hard disc. It's also highly unlikely it would go missing, we're not talking about illegal cracks, warez and serialz here....:001_rolleyes::lol:

We should help each other out in public, or there's no point in a forum for discussion.

There was another member on here once who was full of self aggrandising shite. 'PM me for this, PM me for that. Amazing document of timber values or some such, PM me'. Then he'd fill the thread with 'PM sent' so everyone could see what an awesome guy he was :001_rolleyes: It's just childish.

A forum is for sharing :thumbup1:

A forum is for sharing but once stihl get knowledge of anyone hosting there ipl's and workshop manuals online then the sites usually come down not long after. Presumably due to legal action through sharing copyrighted material

I used to point people at a good source of manuals but it is no longer there and you could never access it through the website it was on as there were no links to it, it was a publicly accessible folder that google could find with manuals and ipl's for most stihl stuff on it
