As per title what are you using?

I'm using hitch climber, vt knot with Sirius friction cord, is there a better friction cord that work better with blue tongue

how you finding the Sirius cord?

 

my next rope will be blue tongue, I've just ordered some Sirius cord for foot locking, hope it works well.

Yeah it works well sometimes you have to dress the knot but the friction cord might be an inch or so too long, it's cheap as well about £1.50 a meter :thumbup1:

Yeah...knut knot...:-)..I use the black and green rope 8mm from jonsies with the above knot. That is all

 

 

That's Sirius.

Lovely cord. Supple and great for hitches. Only issue is it glazes fast, but it's 4x cheaper than Armor Prus (which in my experience is the only other hitch cord worth buying).

 

Armor Prus will last months. Cheap as Sirius in the long run.

Unfortunately it's been out of stock from honeys for months they do have some thing simular that's not on there web site that I would rate though.

Personally I would not waste time on any other cord than armour prus , you can burn out Sirius in one climb I have found.
