It depends what your main work type is, I had a Rayco RG 13, we could carry it up steps etc, but I mainly did medium to large stumps so I got an HB20, I can get it most places I need to. If I get awkward stumps then I hire a small camon grinder. Luckily I don't have to often as the hire shop have no idea how to sharpen teeth.

Personally for an extra £700 quid I would save up and buy the bandit and get twice the machine. More metel for your money, great customer service and much more productivity on the job. It's alway tough to stick to budget but normally its worth blowing it. I ll be getting a bandit 2250 ASAP.

The Bandit will without doubt be the better built more powerful machine. HOWEVER we have a C500 and as previously mentioned you can take it through houses, upstairs, downstairs, round corners etc etc and will tackle pretty much any stump anywhere, providing you allow a little more time of course! Highly recommended machine, and can easily be lifted by two guys onto the back on a transit or similar. We win a hell of a lot of stump grinding jobs purely on access it surprises me why more firms don't have them - we're just about to buy a second and holding on incase there's a deal at the APF! Worth fitting the finger teeth, don't really know why you would use the Super Teeth when they are four times as much and take a bit longer to swap.
