I've gone for the Echo CS620SX so only time will tell if I've made a good choice or a real lemon. I shall post how I get on.

Update on my new Echo 620SX....super saw, starts easily and cuts like a good'un. I'm really going to have to give this one extra respect as it's a beast. Time will tell if it's reliable but so far I'm impressed. Thanks again to everyone who contributed to my post.

Geoff we're just like a bunch of kids really! My other half thinks I'm completely off my rocker with regard to saws and sawing. I spend hours cleaning, checking, adjusting and playing with the 4 I have at the mo. Once in a while I actually get to do some work with them. Deep joy.

I'm like that too, these Echo's want a bit of bedding in, I think you will find yours improves in power after a gallon or so of fuel.

Only 4? You need double that

You need to run the saw in now, the best way is to hit your log pile as hard as possible!

You mean you use them, they'll not last, it'll be the death of them. You don't mention sharpening in that list
