Spalted Beech Table

Would like to show you some pic's of the table I've just finished using some gorgeous book-matched spalted beech planks, which were also the first planks I milled when I got my Alaskan mill. This one's also for sale, so PM me if anyone's interested!

Yeah, I was really lucky getting wood like that from my first ever use of my Alaskan and I really enjoy hearing what everyone sees in the pattern, loads of different stuff - I should name it the Rorchsac (not sure how to spell that!) Table. Cheers for your feedback, Mark

another Alaskan convert, its so addictive aint it! you look at a butt and think I wonder what thats like milled? out it comes! love my mill should have had one eons ago:thumbup1:

Hi Tony I know what you mean wish I had my mill 10yrs ago a few teething probs but I will soon sort it building a lean too at my yard so even the rain will not be able to stop me I love turning over the first cut and seeing what the grain is like its like opening a prezzy every time ace
