Seriously had this sort of thing happen in the pub one day, tried to insist they'd got my change wrong, the landlady insisted that cos it was a computerised till, they dont make errors. so I took her word for it. Btw forgot to say in whose favour the error was in. Their loss.

I have now given this situation a little more thought and there are only two options, you could say that you don't feel the change have been given complies with good financial practise and you then tell them what you think the change should be,but say you will accept there change if they insist or you say that the change you have been given does not comply with good financial practise and that as BAAP (butty association approved purchaser) you are not prepared to accept the change, give back the change, except your tenner, and the butty and tell them to sell there wares to cowboys and pikeys.
