I'll start off with a butterfly I carved. Unfortunately it became separated from the log due to a slight kick making it too weak at the bottom

theres a good reason for doing the toadstool, as I found out with my first go, a high backed chair/ throne, when I stood back from my frantic sawing, lo and behold, only one leg at the front................

 

At least its got four wings, even if its not still perched on the log

Ha! All I can carve is mushrooms, not artisics at all!

I need to get set up with a Rob D carving bar as I really enjoyed carving.

Been thinking about the ideal do everything arb truck.

My current thoughts are a 10/12t lorry with a sleeper cab. A 2t hiab behind the cab, a tipping chip box on the back half of the load bed. That would leave the front half for a tracked chipper which would be taken on/off with the hiab. Also could fit on some good sized logs for milling.

Has anyone thought about a conveyor belt instead of a tipper?

Saw one of the big aggregate lorries earlier which got me thinking....

That conveyor idea is great, but probably a bit pricey and heavy on on my ranger super cab tipper. A towed agricultural conveyor would help raise the price on those awkward drops though...... Where is the next local farm auction. Best not tell the Mrs!
