Not a bad first attempt. You must be the first person in the world not to carve a mushroom as their first piece :)

 

theres a good reason for doing the toadstool, as I found out with my first go, a high backed chair/ throne, when I stood back from my frantic sawing, lo and behold, only one leg at the front................:blushing:

 

At least its got four wings, even if its not still perched on the log

Been thinking about the ideal do everything arb truck.

My current thoughts are a 10/12t lorry with a sleeper cab. A 2t hiab behind the cab, a tipping chip box on the back half of the load bed. That would leave the front half for a tracked chipper which would be taken on/off with the hiab. Also could fit on some good sized logs for milling.
