Cougar is lovely rope but way too static for work position climbing in my opinion. I wouldn't want to take a fall on it!

Yale kernmaster has all the properties of a true work position rope, static to a certain degree but dynamic under a shock load absorbing energy from the fall lessening the impact on your body.

There shouldn't be a need for dynamic rope in Arb work positioning IMO. If you are doing things right then there shouldn't be any slack in your rope in the first place.

Of cause mate but like I say in my previous post, it is mainly base anchors that can lead to shock loading.. :)

Adam do you find the HH and rw to run about the same on kern?

Pretty similar mate, i do find that I need 4 wraps on a Knut with armour Pruss but only 3 with beeline! On the wrench.

But both require 5 wraps on the hitchhiker setup.

Running wise - the pulley on the HH they run equally as smooth :)
