pulleys lowering rigging

jus wandering if any one has advive on lowering and rigging operations, how bigger peices to drop off and incednts with these, let limbs run stuff like that how.............

I woudl say only cut off peices about so big and let it run a bit and use a so so size of rope and a nice pulley should be ok.

not a frayed knot. Also shout umpa lumpa when the so big log is um bigger, then the groundie will let it run morish than before but less than when he didn't.

If you're asking this question on order to carry out untrained rigging ops yourself then I'd say don't without knowledge and experience. Too much can go wrong and/or the job could take you twice as long as normal. Get trained, fella, it'll be worth it in the end.

 

I was watching road runner and whyley coyote the other day where the coyote tied a big rock to a nice little pulley system so he could drop it on roadrunner as he ran past ithink that it could be adapted for tree work it would just need a capstan to slow it Dow a bit all the stuff is available from acme corp it was on the Disney channel last Tuesday about 4ish if thats any help as for sizes and weights the rock he had looked about 10 tons so more than ample
