Hi all,

I'm considering buying an ifor tipper. It tips on the electric button but to come down you need to open the valve. What's the worst case this could be and how expensive ! I'm going to view it this weekend and any words of wisdom would be much appreciated, it's a 2004 tt126.

May thanks

I had the same problem. It was a broken release solenoid. Cost about 50 quid from an online hydraulic spares. When the tipper is up, you sometimes have to press the up quickly followed by the down to get it to lower. When its fully down, if you press the down button, you should hear a faint click from the solenoid. If you do, then its working ok, somit coild be a stuck valve.
