Hi

I have bitten the bullet and upgraded to Posch s360 with log deck but I do not have a sawdust extractor. Anyone with one of these machines able to recommend a decent extractor that is not ridiculous money?

Also looking for around 200T of hardwood for next season. I am 20 mins south of Inverness.

Many Thanks

James

I was quoted £1,000 plus vat but inc delivery for hydraulic one a year ago. If you're cutting lot of wood and can find a use for the sawdust then arguably it's worth it, not unknown to lose half a day cleaning up all the sawdust around ours.

I'll have HW ideal for processors later this year but located near Stirling so haulage may kill it

I use a 3hp sip electric motor extractor like the one in the link above, threw all the bags and connected a pipe to the outlet that goes straight into a grain trailer.

Hi we use a small section of culvert pipe cut at an angle at one end it works a treat, stops sawdust blowing under tractor just check it regularly to make sure its not blocked. The best thing about this fix is its free.
