Feed roller problem on Jensen 530

On my jensen 521 there is a flap under the bottom feed roller which clogs up with a load of bits of brash leaves and genral crap when it's clogged up it does a simalar thing worth a try

Can u take the hopper of on a 530. If so is it the micro switch on the bottom of the hopper

Clean the end of the sensor that controls the no stress. My chipper did something similar and this cured it, though its not a jensen

No they just wont work

Take the linkage off the spool valve and make sure that the spool is indeed going to the three postions. If the spools is locating properly in the three places an the correct speed is still not right then that is one issue eliminated. Do the rollers pull in (effectively) @ low speed, if they do, then it would appear to be solenoid related. Check the job on the valve again, is the nob turning and shaft renaining still? It is an easy enough system to work on.......

Presumably it's not something like a seized or tight bearing

The chipper is now running perfect, it was the solenoid and the new one I fitted was also faulty.
