Improve Your MPG

I have used Redex in the past and found no improvement in mpg. Came across an advert in a magazine for Clean Drive and thought I would give it a go.

You wait until you have a quarter tank left, drive for 6 miles to warm things up, put the whole contents of the tin in,drive for another ten miles then fill up. It claims to clean the engine, the diesel particulate filter, sensors and improve mpg.

Previously I used to average 330 miles to the tank in my 2007 Ford Ranger diesel. Following adding a tin of clean drive, I am now averaging 375 miles. The treatment lasts three months so I reckon in that time I will be £70 better off.
