I love mine!

I was never the most confident of climbers, went from prussick to vt/hitch climber, back to prussick. I didn't feel confident on the vt, as I had to dress the hitch every time, even if it didn't need it:blushing:

The zig zag has changed the way I climb from the first time I used it, I feel confidence that was not there before, I can concentrate on what I am doing rather than worrying about my hitch.

Inspect your kit daily or more often if you feel the need, if your trusting your life to something then trust it.

Gray Git climbs every tree for fun...he's a gear junkie...I must admit I love my ZZ and Zillon. They both work so well......jon summed it up for me. It grabs perfectly.everytime. inspect it and look after it.Gray Git has already modified his Zillon with a thinner rope.mine is standard bombproof cordage.

Yes that's the Zillon on my side strop. Works very will even when the roap is soaking wet it behaves the same.

I'll admit I was never keen on the roap that came with it so have now swapped out for some 11mm tackion in bright orange which is so much smoother particularly when releasing under full load and is much easier to spot among ivy or.leaves

Hi Gray, what rope and size of rope are you using with the Zig Zag mate? Nice video by the way. Cheers
