Now that chainsaw refreshers are well established - in forestry at least, if not arb - it is only a matter of time before they start on pesticides, then quads, then strimmers, then.............:001_rolleyes:

The principle of HSE 5 yearly refreshers has always been there, it's just that the Forestry Sector and FISA have made it mandatory it's recently come to the fore.

 

When considering 'where' to concentrate your efforts and attentions consider the activities where things have changed significantly as a priority, i.e. climbing / aerial rescue and rigging etc.

as other post 5 years if yours has lapsed and you do spray and it goes up your insurance company may try and wiggle out if your not qualified to use it

refresher is only a days course for both parts just checking you still know how to do it money for old rope but has to be done think its £150 for refresher but do not quote me
