I've got a pretty new ms660 and noticed that when i use the decompression valve when it pops back out again sometimes i get a little puff of grey smoke is this usual? The saw was very hot at the time and i don't notice it when its cold.

Is this something to worry about or not bother?

It is probably just exhaust smoke, just make sure the valve opens and closes cleanly by pulling and pushing it and make sure the shaft isn't bent by spinning the top round and make sure the top doesn't wobble from side to side.

If you REALLY doubt it, change it as if it snaps, the head will end up in the combustion chamber:thumbdown:
