why is it so difficult to find a timber trailer ???

They are simple single fixed axle conversions, the larger is on decent tyres and based on an an old ford chassis and the smaller one is based on an army trailer,

I can offer what you need. We can do with or without crane no problems (though all trailers come with crane mounting).

A decent spec 10 ton trailer with no crane comes in at about £6k+vat

If you want something different to a standard trailer we can build custom trailers, but they cost a bit more.

Speak to Kenny at FMS in Wark, Northumberland - bought a Vreten with crane off him 18 months ago. I'm sure he would do just the trailer and they have round bolsters.

 

We were in a similar position - could not find second hand one and if you did it was absolutely scrap!

Apart from the fierce brakes that skid when empty, our 2010 botex euro 11000 has been a good strong trailer. 2 bays of 2.2m is easy, but 2.4's do go on it ok. Apart from a few welds on headboard, we've had no probs with pins or any other welds. Extendable section as you've mentioned above would be good if easy to adjust. Beyond 2.4's I'm not sure if the front wheels would stay down with roofmount! Cheers, John.
