I honestly hope that they are going to ban him for the rest of the World Cup and even the first half of the season. I cannot imagine being a Liverpool fan now, you have arguably the best striker in the world and he is absolutely mental – biting players THREE TIMES!

Football is not to blame, if you think it is you are deluded. The sport of football has changed so much in the last 25 years since the money came into it so much. Unfortunately some players are corrupted by the glamour and money that goes with the spotlight. There are not that many incidents in such a huge sport. There are incidents in all sports, cycling, boxing, athletics, ice skating etc. but they don't get the exposure of football. If you don't like footy don't watch it.

I have a football mad son hodge, and the wife isn't much better. I hate football, but half the time it's on tv and I watch it with my son just to spend time with him, the other half the time in running him to Footie training and matches. This Sunday I'll be out at one of his football tournaments all day long, and there's another 2 like that lined up during the summer. To say if you don't like it don't watch it, simply isn't an option for some people

I want to know if the World Cop officials have mandatory Rabies testing in cases like this?

All kidding aside if this player was to continue to play just think what kind of distraction there would be if he popped a single Alka-Seltzer in his mouth on the field!

That's fair enough Steve. Its good that you do that for your son, a lot of kids play football and its great for friendship building. Hopefully the kids won't be taking a bite out of each other..
