Help me van won't start

has it a common rail engine poss one of the injectors is playing up if it does then will not start as it stops fuel to all the others. my vito did this.

I had the injector pump go on mine,a very common fault with duratorque engines.Hopefully not this with yours as it cost about a grand to fix.

 

This happened on ours a few years ago, it was driven in at night with no problems but would not start the next day. Covered most of the stuff in the posts here and gave in, a mate came out and plugged in a gadget of trickery and it was the ecm which is buried in the top of the pump.It had another pump fitted and re programmed to talk to the immobiliser which sorted it. Weird how they can be all right one minute and not the next.

Got it back to the garage this morning, plugged computer thingy in said it was the control unit for injector pump. Cannot get it seen to till Wednesday. Total pain

From memory control unit is available seperate for about 300 quid, but will still need programming. Sorry.
