Hi guys. I need a Q.Robur sawlog of about 2' diameter straight, so that i can mill a beam. The beam is 18"x9", and 13' long, so the log has to be pretty even and straight. Can anyone help? Distance may not be a problem, as i am considering getting one from France at the moment!!!:scared1:

Just poped out and had a quick measure up for you. A rough mesurment is 20ft long, and just over 30inch in diameter.

Its still lying where it was felled atm as you can see, but getting it to a hard standing is not going to be a problem, and i also have acsess to a forklift once the timbers on solid ground.

Dunno if its of any use to you mate?

is he selling everything????:001_smile:

Yep, down to the yard. The mill has gone as has various other bits, still to go are the Mog (with crane) and timber trailer - see Atkinson Vos, the skidder Mog, the landcruiser, the 15t splitter, firewood sawbench, all timber (in the round and cut) etc etc

Did you get your roof mount from him?
