Calculating PAYE

Do you calculate your own PAYE for your employees? what software do you use and how difficult is it? My accountant has dropped a right bollo*k with mine so i would prefer to do it myself.

you can download the governments own payroll hmrc basic paye in realtime. go to hmrc.gov.uk and its under employers paye

No my accountant does it all, payroll, vat the lot.i have enogjt to worry about.

Sage payroll. Been using it for about 20 years without issue. Excellent support available - at a price though.

thats what i used wen i had f/t staff ,used to pay a set amount every mth by d/d ,worked ok ,but you will need to set a payment in advance ,the good thing was end of the yr a got some bk
