Cool video, I call your slice cut a spear cut. On skinny stuff I usually do it not far off full stretch above my head to stop me putting my arm out, I sometimes have to use the bar as a lever to wiggle it over:biggrin:

On big stuff, say a neighbouring stem I do it below waist height, helps me keep my head out the way, sometimes I get a bit of a slap by brash in the way past, but it's a time saver and newer helmets mean you don't have to get the Groundie to look for your ear muffs in the brash:001_rolleyes:
