I agree yes good work postion is better. I mainly have them to cut down on knocks/scratches and cuts from rough bark/branches and as an extra safety feature for 02s.

Are the arm protectors any good?

As previousley mentioned about the torso... surely you have t be doing something pretty silly to cut your arms?!?

(What do you think Dean?!)

I worked for one utility contractor that insisted on full chainsaw jackets when working from a mewp, serious nightmare on hot, sunny days,:dontknow: good way of losing weight though!

:laugh1:

Would like to try the shrublands trees LSD.We can arrange that and maybe the sizwell tres to.

I’ll try getting permission for the one at Shubllands this week,

It shouldn’t be a problem as a lot of guys already use it for training, maybe go after work sometime?

better to tackle that, before moving onto the mutated…I mean monster pines of Sizewell:001_tongue:

Nice pics. You look like you really enjoyed yourself Cerne.......IMO I think your right to wear your normal work attire. I would'nt feel right unless I had my chainsaw strides n boots on. :001_smile:

Your right Mick,

As Cerne will tell you , I completely diced my Levis on that oak, if I was up there any longer I’d have been climbing in my pants. :blushing:

Great pics, managed to do a bit of climbing too over the weekend. Love how no matter what the tree, there's always a nice little hole in the canopy that provides an awesome view.

Gotta agree though I can't climb without my work boots and type C's, I just don't feel as secure otherwise.

same as,just dont feel confidant to throw myelf around a tree unless in saw trousers and boots and i nearly always climb in a forestry or stretch air jacket so i can throw my self around without getting chaffed up.

looks a good day you had!

Chicks Dig Scars.

Nice tree though. Get some branch walking done. Keep pushing yourself mate. Confidence looks high from the pics.
