hi just wondered if anyone knows what happened with the smart winch that steve ibelings had designed. it caused a bit of a stir but I havnt heard anything much about it since . any know stockists or anyone bought one and what they thought ?

I didn't know that either. They don't do a very good job of promoting it.

Tree kit claim to have them in stock but when we tried to buy one turned out they didnt have one but can get them in.

 

we bought one form our loler examiner he imports them, £2300 with a half day install/ training. they've sold more SW's in Europe than grcs's the UK is too small & bigoted maybe, it got a hammering on AT once before but really cant see why, its far superior IMO, would never go back to the grcs now

I've made that point before and got criticised. I have also made this point about Britain on the American 'The Treehouse' forum and I got slated there as well, by UK Arbs! Hahahaha!
