Hello,

Looking for recommendations for a grinder and spare batteries to tickle up the stumpy teeth in the field.

Cheers.

Makita 18v with the 3.ah or the 4.ah batteries is the way to go

I have a power inverter for the truck battery and a very long extension lead. Make sure the inverter is big enough for you grinder.

Yarp!

Sod the battery powered tools, for the less money you could buy a suitcase genny and a decent grinder. I have the 18volt dewalt stuff which is fairly good but I know it would not buff up a set of grinder teeth even with three batteries, they just dont have the nuts of a proper grinder.

So...

I'm off to a supplier of pro powertools in Rennes tomorrow to get a quote and advice.

The prices they charge here are normally eye watering so if there is a real saving I'll buy online if they won't negociate.

And now...the disks, what are you guys using?

Cheers

Ty
