Rabbits, Rabbits more Rabbits oh n now Himalayan Balsam!!!!

Soak some pine cones in diesel and roll them into the holes.Rabbits don't like it too much,and will abandon the Warren.net your perimeter to keeps them out but they may still burrow in.Realistically they are best shot or ferreted.

Thanks guys, just off to hand pull the balsam patch. Noticed we had a couple of stoats poking around the borders this morning.

If needs be will dig out the .22's. they've been collecting dust since we eradicated the field rats that used to swim up the brook to raid the bird table.

People are too quick to use chemicals, in my opinion.

 

What damage are the rabbits doing? Most of ours died over the winter but I'm sure the population will recover. Wish I was a morning person so I could get up early & shoot them

Those stoats will sort out a few of the rabbits for you:thumbup:
